Probably yeah because Xbox 360 will have a hard drive to play backward compatible games like Halo 2 and DOAU. I think it is the $400 dollar verson of Xbox 360.
I would think it would be. I've heard rumors that all of the games that are on the 25 most played Xbox Live games list will be backwards compatible. I'd like to believe that rumor, but that's wishful thinking.

The more I think about it, the more I'm not sure. Some good games aren't going to be backwards compatible. Microsoft says they're trying to "appeal to mainstream gamers". Not exactly sure how they define "mainstream", though. I still have hope that it will be backwards compatible because DOAU doesn't really have any advanced button assignments, but I can't be sure.
