To all you hardcore (or have at least some knowledge) Ryu users. In sparring mode, a move comes up that says press B while standing. I pressed B without moving, but nothing happened.

Thanks in advance to anyone who can clear this up.

Okay, to be the no-fun kind of guy that I am, let me answer it. Hockeyface was right. The phrase "while standing" is a translation problem. It means, while you are crouching and rising up from the crouch. In that split second, hit the button. Personally, I think it would have been better to say "while rising", but that's me.

just for future reference if u look above the command it will tell u if u have to do the move in a certain way like it will say: do while crouching or somtin like dat

Some people unlocked Kasumi and Ayane's Announcer voices. Personally, i like it better than the original announcer's voice.

Their is also and Ein announcer.
